Veolia Community Investment Fund As a responsible local business which cares about the communities Veolia serve and looks after the environment around us, Veolia has always supported environmental projects and voluntary/charitable organisations within our community. They know that donations both large and small can make a real and lasting difference to the organisations which receive them. This year they have launched a Community Investment Fund, where community groups and charities within our water supply area can apply for a grant for specific projects. How to Apply Eligible charities or community organisations can apply for a grant from the Veolia Water Community Investment Fund www.veoliawater.co.uk/communityfund . How Much Can You Apply For? There will be two rounds of grants throughout the year. You will be able to apply for Bronze, Silver and Gold awards, with Bronze any amount up to £500; Silver up to £1000; and Gold up to £2,500.
How will grants be awarded? All applications received will be considered by the Fund’s Committee. Applications will only be considered if they include activities which reflect at least one of the following criteria: Child welfare and education Social inclusion for all Environment Quality of life for the disadvantaged Grants will only be awarded for specific projects within Veolia’s supply area, and will not be awarded for general running costs. Exclusions Veolia do not provide funding for organisations which fall outside their supply area. In addition the following organisations will not be eligible for funding: Groups with a political affiliation, or which support party political campaigning Religious organisations which promote the furtherance of a religion Public bodies, where the support is intended to replace statutory funding Animal charities (with the exception of those that work to benefit the disadvantaged – such as Guide Dogs for the Blind or Hearing Dogs for the Deaf)

How will you know if you have been awarded?
All applicants will be notified by email. Those which are awarded grants will receive a cheque, with guidance and advice on how to keep us informed of the outcome of Veolia’s donation.
